My name is Pierre Frenes, I grew up and live in the North West France by the ocean in a small town named Granville and have been enjoying salt water activities for years.

I started to ride waves as a teen and it still makes me stoked after all those years. I have been painting and drawings for years too. I had the good fortune to travel a bit those last years, discovering new places and peoples, and of course perfect surf.

When it comes to my arts, I would describe it as a mix between painting and drawing… Probably inspired by some classic surf artist I admire like Rick Griffin or Jim Phillips… I just love to paint empty lineups and waves. Isn't an empty lineup all that we're looking for when going for a surf…
